Welcome to P9Q where every child is seen, valued, and supported to grow in meaningful and lasting ways.

As the principal of this incredible school community, I am proud to lead a team deeply committed to nurturing the success of all learners across seven sites throughout Queens. At P9Q, we provide a nurturing, inclusive environment for learners from Kindergarten through Grade 8, ensuring that every student experiences success, independence, and dignity each day.

Our work is grounded in a simple but powerful belief: every child can learn, thrive, and achieve when provided with the right opportunities and support. Our educators bring dedication, expertise, and compassion to their classrooms, using evidence-based practices and individualized instruction to honor each student’s strengths and promote their growth academically, socially, emotionally, and functionally.

Beyond academics, we help students build confidence and essential life skills through community-based learning, enrichment activities, and opportunities that foster communication, problem solving, and independence. We want every learner to leave P9Q knowing they are capable, valued, and ready for the next step in their journey.

Equally important is our partnership with families. We know that when school, home and community partners work together, students thrive. Through open communication, workshops, events, and ongoing collaboration, we strive to build strong, supportive relationships that uplift our entire community. I am honored to serve our students, families, and staff. Together, we celebrate every achievement, embrace every challenge, and uphold high expectations for all learners.
